Going to School
Do you have a particular memory of going to school? It might be your first day of school, your last day... your first day at high school, or going to a new school. Share a memory of school with us please.
My first memoy of school is really interesting. My mother dressed me in some brown cordaroy pants and a red and white striped shirt. I had a little red backpack and my shoes weren't tied. My mom drove the few blocks to my elementary school and pulled into the circle drive. Everyone for morning kindergarten was lined up outside next to the school on the little blacktop. My mom pulled me out of the car and walked me slowly to my waiting peril. She went up to the teacher that was waiting with the students that were lined up by class. While she talked I stared at the children waiting. All new faces. No one that I went to preschool with. Then all of a sudden, out of the sea of frowning, sniveling faces was my friend Jeff. Now he wasnt only my friend, Jeff was my best friend. I waved and prayed that I would give up all my toys if my friend and I were in the same class. My mom finally said, "Okay sweetie. Time to go and be brilliant." She kissed me on the cheek and led me over to the line I had been staring at. Jeff and I were in the same class. I have reached the pinnacle of education happiness. From that day on, school has never made me want to be in a class more.
