TWO THINGS
1. i just want to say that after going a week of not smoking, i feel great. i really do. my head is clear and i actually, for once in a long time, feel smart. my vocabulary is coming back and i can think so much faster when im not forgetting what i was talking about 5 minutes before.
2. shout out to all those that i miss. you know who you are. we need to get a drink soon.

tonight was a night of great steps being taken. i have looked at life and realized that a friendship and a respect for a friends decision is a far far greater thing than any petty desire i have to partake in a substance. i have decided that i am finished with it.

despite what the quote says, there has not been any haze in the room for a long time. i look back on my years at college and i wonder where all my money came from. why dont i have the large supply of loot that i, at one time in my life, possessed.
now not having any herb is probably a good thing. especially in the minds of all of you that feel that it is a self-depleting addiction and a person functions better without it. you are probably alittle correct in saying that. i now have a clear head all day long and my time can now be spent on doing constructive things like homework and all that. but there is just one flaw in that equation.
i have always had time to do my work. i choose to put things off. its my way of dealing with the tasks that my life gives me. life is too short to stress out about school or anything else. why cant i just sit down at a park tomorrow and paint a picture instead of going to class?
i look at the world that i am about to enter and realize that i will have to suck it up and complete tasks that i dont really want to do. but when you take a look at everything right now, i mean a good look, you realize that all you really want to do is sit in the comfort of your home and smoke a nice fresh bowl of green, listen to some music and daydream.

ohh jeez.... i procrastinated again. i have to finish two lengthy excel docs for my father, find out what i need to do for 1 class, study my ass off for another because we have a quiz tomorrow, and finish the tech breakdown that i was so close to completing and then put down. please, if you see me today, make sure that i am working on something. no time to dilly dally. work work work.............

i think that the growing number of political incidents and news released information about illegal drugs is showing a dramatic shift in the thinking of the american people. the more i hear, the closer i think we are to finally ending the war on drugs. hopefully we will stop spending needless amounts of money to harass and strip citizens of this country of their rights and privilages. hey, when my grandmother says that she doesnt understand why marijuana isnt legal, i know there has to be something wrong...
